Going Home

This is a view, coming over the highway, into the town of Winters, CA where I live. It was the first of a series of shots I was taking for a panorama that didn't work out very well ... but something about this shot caught my eye.

Nestled, off in the distance, at the base of that little mountain (the smallest mountain range in the world, I believe) is a tiny, sleepy town of about 6,000 people.
